Tipp: Ageing, Generational Change and Social Solidarity
In Februrary, we met in Dortmund to discuss ageing societies, local communities, civic society and a number of related issues in our last WeberWorldCafé Demographic Change: Challenges and Opportunities.
Have we been able to spark your interest? If yes, don’t hesitate to check out this opportunity: The conference “Ageing, Generational Change and Social Solidarity: Managing Diversity in Ageing Societies” which takes place in Wroclaw, July 7 – July 10, 2018, will focus on the issues we have touched upon in the WWC. Plenary speakers Sandra Torres and Paul Reynolds will bring together research in fields like sociology, social gerontology, and global studies to discuss new demographic strategies, diversity and demographics, and generational issues like solidarity and cultural differences.
The presentations will include posters and panels on demographic change and associated topics from the humanities, social sciences or transdisciplinary approaches. If you are interested in participating, get more information here.
