Wanted: Science Reporters

For our next WeberWorldCafé on “Transoceanic Cultures: The Sea in Past and Present” we are looking for Science Reporters!

The next WeberWorldCafé “Transoceanic Cultures: The Sea in Past and Present” will take place on October 26, from 2:30pm – 6:00pm in Heidelberg. It is jointly organized by the Max Weber Stiftung – Deutsche Geisteswissenschaftliche Institute im Ausland, the Cluster “Asia and Europe in a Global Context” and the Forum Transregionale Studien.

As a Science Reporter, you will participate in the event and document your experience online: with an article on our blog, on Twitter, Facebook, or any other place on the web. The Max Weber Stiftung will cover your travel expenses and stay in Heidelberg. You will also get the chance to get to know our experts better at a dinner following the event.

You can read what our past science reporter thought about our previous WeberWorldCafés here.

Are you interested? Send us a short application until September 19, 2018 to wwc@maxweberstiftung.de.

Max Weber Stiftung

The Max Weber Foundation promotes global research, focused on the areas of social sciences, cultural studies and the humanities. Our research is conducted at ten institutes in various countries across the globe with different and independent fields of focus. Through our globally operating institutes, we are able to contribute to the communication and networking between Germany and our host countries or regions. By promoting academic dialogue and merging academic and non-academic employees from several countries with different cultural backgrounds, the Max Weber Foundation is able to strengthen the internationalization of research.
